Wakefield wines are the 7th largest wine producer in Australia, and three generations of the Taylor family are involved in running the business in Clare Valley.

Since it was established in 1973, the first vintage of Wakefield Cabernet Sauvignon won gold at every Australian natiional wine show, Wakefield wines has buit a reputation for producing award winning wines. For their family winery, 2007 proved to be another highly successful year with wines across their entire portfolio winning over 200 domestic and international awards including 2 trophies, 29 gold and 79 silver medals.
