Our Range & Strengths

In 2008 the portfolios of Findlater Grants & Woodford Bourne were united as Findlater Wine & Spirit Group.

The merger has brought together a broad and diverse portfolio it encompasses most notable wine producing countries. From old world regions such as Torres, Moreau, Jadot, Masi and Antinori – to the new world delights of Cono Sur, Wakefield, Saint Clair and Graham Beck and as diverse as a Lebanese wine Chateau Musar.

The dynamic range of wines allows FWS to provide the trade as the wine supplier of choice.

Old World

In the old-world we represent some of the finest that France have to offer. Bollinger is one of the last family houses in Champagne, and that is what allows for the quality and style that offers wine-lovers something different and unique. The House of Chapoutier has a long and proud family tradition dating back to 1808, today seven generations later, Michel Chapoutier, the dynamic winemaker, carries on this tradition. Maison Louis Jadot celebrated their 150th Anniversary in 2009 and continues to be one of the leading winemakers in Burgundy.

Spain is exceptionally represented by the Miguel Torres family winery, the pioneers of Spanish wine making and Torres have been recognized by the international wine community on many occasions. Furthermore the Marques de Riscal winery is one of the oldest wineries in Rioja and its history is based on two fundamental values: tradition and innovation.

New World

The new-world is characterized by some innovating and dynamic wineries. Cono Sur encompases the spirit of the new world under its award winning winemaker Adofo Hurtado. Cono sur is the biggest producer of Pinot Noir wines in the world. Wakefield wines in South Australia’s Clare Valley has remained proudly family owned and managed by the Taylor family. Since its debut vintage in 1973, Wakefield wines have won more than 2,000 medals and awards internationally.

 

Spirits

Spirits are proudly led by Tullamore Dew, produced in Ireland and founded in 1886 by Daniel E Williams –DEW. The brand now has an impressive record of 27 Gold Medals since 1999. Grants Scotch and Glenfiddich two of the worlds nest loved Scotch whiskies. Williams & Humber sherries and Grahams Port also provide a mainstay in our lively spirit potfolio.
