About the Wine

Tasting Notes

Brilliant straw colour. Superb example of Verdejo varietal wine with a mixture of tropical fruit aromas and hints of fennel and fresh green grass. Refreshing mouthfeel, full bodied with a slight final bitterness which gives it complexity and the very characteristic personality of wines of this variety. This wine pairs well with fish, shellfish, ham, pasta, chicken and cold meat.

12.5%  Alcohol. Screwcap. Unwooded

Marques de Riscal has a proud winemaking tradition in Spain since 1860.  The local Verdelho grape from the exciting Rueda region makes a wine that is very fresh and well balanced with high intense aromatic tropical flavours.

Food Match:    Light to medium dishes of fish, shellfish, and chicken.
